Mini-guides

Mini-guides

These are the Naval Museum’s smallest guides – both in age and size. Insatiably popular among pupils, teachers and parents – our mini-guides!

For a few years now, 6th Grade pupils have been trained as mini-guides for the Naval Museum. As the museum’s tiniest representatives they guide their parents, relatives and friends around the museum.

This is very popular among pupils, teachers and parents alike. We have seen pupils grow in stature and courage while at the same time learning more about Swedish history in a new and exciting way.

It is important for us to reach parents in such a constructive atmosphere and watch pupils’ efforts become a source of shared joy and pride.

Our focus is on each pupil’s own capabilities and we discuss the course content with each teacher. We want to give the pupils self-confidence, teach them presentation techniques, and let them enjoy learning history through our museum.

Is your school interested in training your pupils as mini guides? Contact us and we will tell you more.
