In the exhibition called Arsenal, you can see how the navy's weapons were handled ashore.

From our collection: drawing
Sea battles required heavy weapons such as cannon, but also small arms and swords for hand-to-hand combat on board. The weapons were stored in the Arsenal when ships were in port.
In addition to weapons there was an artillery model chamber. Drawings were made here and new models of weapons were tested in practice.
In the Arsenal exhibition you can see many of the most common weapons between the 17th and 19th centuries. You can also see some of the models that were produced.
