On Foot
From Stortorget, head east down the hill on Kyrkogatan. Cross Drottninggatan and continue along Kyrkogatan until you reach the bridge leading over to Stumholmen. Once you have crossed the bridge, continue straight ahead — the Naval Museum will soon appear on your left-hand side.
By Bus and Train
From Karlskrona Travel Center, it’s easy to walk to the Naval Museum. Follow the quay along Östra Hamngatan all the way to the bridge to Stumholmen. Cross the bridge and continue straight ahead — the museum will be on your left. The walk takes about 20 minutes.
By Car
If you are arriving by car via the E22, follow the main road towards Karlskrona city center. At the guest harbor, turn left onto Östra Hamngatan. From there, simply follow the signs to the Naval Museum’s parking area.
From the parking lot, walk east until you reach the bridge to Stumholmen. Once you have crossed the bridge, continue straight ahead — you will soon see the Naval Museum on your left.
Motorhomes and Caravans
Parking with a motorhome or caravan is not permitted in the Naval Museum’s parking areas. For larger vehicles, parking is available at Handelshamnen on Östra Hamngatan.
Parking
Stumholmen is a car-free area and has no public parking spaces. For visitors with reduced mobility, there are designated parking spots right outside the main entrance of the Naval Museum — please make sure to display a valid permit. The museum also offers parking outside Stumholmen (marked in yellow on the map). Simply follow the signs from Drottninggatan to find the parking area.
Payment
You can pay your parking fee at one of the ticket machines located at the parking lot. Please note that payment via app is not available.
