Bistro Skeppsgossen is located inside the Naval Museum and offers beautiful views of the museum ships and the historic surroundings of Stumholmen. Here you can enjoy a lunch buffet with daily specials and classic Swedish home-cooked dishes such as raggmunkar (potato pancakes), kroppkakor (potato dumplings), and fried herring. There are also special children’s meals available at a reduced price. Take a coffee break or enjoy award-winning ice cream from Karlskronaglass on the sunny outdoor terrace — a perfect pause during your museum visit!
Summer menu
During the summer, we serve a buffet featuring classic homemade meatballs with mashed potatoes, cream sauce, lingonberries, and pickled cucumber, as well as roasted pork shoulder with roasted potatoes, pan sauce, and apple compote.
The Blekinge buffet features potato pancakes with pork (raggmunkar), white and fried kroppkakor (potato dumplings), and fried herring.
The buffet also includes a large salad bar, freshly baked sourdough bread, and a variety of fresh accompaniments.

Sustainability
The resturant primarily use Swedish ingredients and limit deliveries to a few times a week to reduce environmental impact. All food is made fresh daily to maintain quality and minimize food waste.
