Before Your Visit
Getting here
The Naval Museum is located on Stumholmen in central Karlskrona. You can get here on foot, by public transport, or by car.
Parking
There are no public parking spaces on the island of Stumholmen. The Naval Museum has paid parking available at Drottninggatan 14–18.
Cash-Free
The Naval Museum is a cash-free museum. You can pay by card or Swish at the entrance, in the shop, and in the restaurant.
Accessibility
Accessible parking is available at the main entrance. Elevators provide access to all floors, and accessible restrooms are located near the main entrance. Please note that the ships are not wheelchair accessible.

Restrooms are located in several places throughout the museum. The restrooms near the main entrance are accessible.
Bags and outerwear
There are lockers for small bags in the cloakroom. Please avoid bringing large bags to the museum, as there are no storage facilities for them.
Restaurant
The Naval Museum’s restaurant offers food and refreshments in a cozy atmosphere. There is also a picnic room on the second floor.
Audioguide
The Naval Museum’s audio guide is available in several languages. Listen for free on your own mobile phone or tablet.
For visitors with children
Baby changing rooms
Baby changing facilities can be found in the cloakroom on the ground floor.
Food and drink
The restaurant offers child-friendly meals, and high chairs are available to borrow. On the second floor, there is a picnic room.
Strollers
Strollers are allowed inside the exhibitions, but please avoid blocking doors and exits.

Important information
No animals
Animals are not allowed in the museum, except for service and assistant animals.
Photography
Filming and photography (without flash) for private use are allowed throughout the museum.
Food and drinks
You are not allowed to bring any kind of foods, ice cream or drinks into the exhibitions.
Children up to 12 years
Children up to and including 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult throughout the museum visit. This also applies to visits by schools, after-school programs, sports clubs, etc. Larger groups of children can be divided, but an adult must be present in each group throughout the entire museum visit.
