See what’s on at the Naval Museum!

Summer at the Naval Museum offers experiences for the whole family – every day. Join a guided tour, step aboard the museum ships and discover stories from 500 years of Swedish naval history. Welcome to summer at the Naval Museum!

The museum ships are moored at the quay outside the Naval Museum. Here you can see the full-rigged ship Jarramas, the minesweeper Bremön and the missile boat Västervik. Welcome on board!
Open daily, 11:00–16:00. Included in the Naval Museum admission ticket.

The Sloop and Longboat Shed next to the Naval Museum is one of Karlskrona’s most impressive buildings. It was built in the 1780s to store the navy’s smaller boats. Today it belongs to the Naval Museum, where you can explore the exhibition about the navy’s smaller vessels, including shallops and barges.
Open daily, 11:00–16:00. Included in the Naval Museum admission ticket.

Step aboard the museum ship Jarramas and experience what life could be like as a ship’s boy. Try swabbing the deck, tying knots and hear stories about everyday life on board. History comes to life through sights, stories and smells.

Join a sailing trip in the Karlskrona archipelago aboard the Naval Museum’s historic boats, some up to 200 years old. The longer tour includes a picnic and activities on an island in the archipelago.
Selected dates in June, July and August. Booking required.

Welcome on board as the missile boat HMS Ystad visits the Naval Museum. Visitors also have the unique chance to join a high-speed tour on the world’s only operational missile boat of its kind.
Open ship: 3 August, 09:00–12:00.
Boat tours: 13:00, 14:00 and 15:00 (advance booking required).
